Blooming Pollen and Weeds

We had a very mild winter and are still a few days away from spring but it feels like summer! It has been in the 80's this week and in the 60's & 70's most of February and March. With all this warm weather all the plants and trees are blooming early, which is causing blankets of yellow (aka pollen) to appear on every surface available. While I did a little dusting, sweeping, and mopping inside today, Doug took time off from putting down pavers to cut the weeds that have sprung up all over our yard. I wish I could say grass but our yard has been invaded by weeds. Maybe in the near future we can work on putting some sod down.

Even this old Mulberry tree is beginning to shower us with pollen.

Doug finally figured out where he stored the lawn mower last year.
Doug is trying to remember how to start the mower!

The weeds look so much better!

Two of our Dogwoods are in full bloom.
