Weekend Work

While Doug & I spent another weekend in Boston and Thomasville working on the weddings, Ricky spent a stormy Saturday and Sunday working at the house. Ricky told us that about the time he finished the front porch railing on Saturday, it began raining then hailing and continued hailing for quite some time. He said the hail ranged from dime sized to half-dollar sized. Our roof held up and there were no leaks or damage!!!

We Have Appliances!

Our stove and refrigerator were delivered yesterday. Doug and I left for Boston around one so we didn't have a chance to check the refrigerator out but it was cooling when we left. The gas won't be connected to the stove until the counter tops are installed. Mega-Granite will be here next week to measure the kitchen and bathroom template. Inio was at the house fine tuning the cabinets and Ricky was working on the front porch railing.

Red High Heels? Nope, Red Entrance Door!

I have always wanted a pair of red high heel shoes but have never bought me a pair. I try them on but never find any that I really love. I love the color red, so when it came time for me to choose a color for the front door, there was never any question what color that would be. There are a zillion colors of red, so it took a while for me to find the one I liked. Maybe now I'll have a little more luck  finding  a pair of red shoes in the future! Hey, maybe I should ask Kellie Pickler to go shopping with me!!
Got my red door!
One more coat of paint and it will be good to go!

Red door, pressure washed steps, and way too many cats!
Kami won't even run them off, what type of watch dog is she?
Did I forget to mention that Ricky put up framing and post
for  front porch railing and steps?

Bit by bit, putting it together

Every little detail plays a part
Having just a vision's no solution
Everything depends on execution
